Details:
Each regular season event is open to the public, with an admission price of $25 for non-member adults, but Jazz Club members and their guests receive admission to each event for the discounted price of $10, along with preferred seating at regular concerts.
For students, admission price is $5 for non-members, but Jazz Club student members and their guests receive free admission to each event, along with preferred seating at regular concerts.
Your membership in The Jazz Club supports respectable musicians’ fees worthy of their skill, talent, and unique musical offerings. This means that your membership will guarantee that you get to hear high-quality performances of exciting and original music by ensembles of local, regional, and national musicians who have had the opportunity to compose and explore new musical materials and form a bond and develop a musical chemistry prior to their performance, recognizing the distinction between the improvised and the impromptu.
Each performance will also include an AFTER WORDS session, a post-performance Q&A/discussion during which you will have the opportunity to interact with the musicians and engage them in a discussion of their music, that day’s performance in particular and/or jazz in general, in the spirit of learning and mentorship which has been the essence of jazz education and the jazz tradition since its inception.
Membership in The Jazz Club will also include your invitation to an exclusive fifth summer celebration/jam session that will take place in a private home.
